"355 Monitor" - Web Monitoring Software
"355 Monitor" is a software package that website owners or administrators can use
to check the online availability and status of one or more websites.
The program accomplishes this by regularly sending requests to the site being monitored.
When the monitor receives any response other than OK from the site, it logs the result,
but also notifies the user by displaying the error icon in the status bar and optionally
sounding an alarm, logging the error to an error file, or sending an Email alert.
The responses from these requests may be saved as a Text File (.txt), a Comma Separated
Value File (.csv), a Hypertext Markup Language File (.htm) or an Extensible Markup Language
File (.xml).
Results saved as HTML can be formatted using one of the supplied Cascading Style
Sheets (CSS) or you can write your own style sheet to change the appearance.
The 355 Monitor program requires Microsoft .Net Framework Version 1.1. If this is
not installed, the installation program will direct you to the Microsoft download
location. There is no charge for the Microsoft .Net Framework.
The unregistered version of 355 Monitor is fully functional. You are free to
monitor as many sites as you would like as well as save log or error results
and send alert email.
When using the unregistered version, the monitor will pause and prompt for
registration after 90 minutes.
Registration of 355 Monitor (US $30.00) eliminates the registration prompt and
entitles you to phone support and free updates for 90 days.
To register your software, open the 355 Monitor program and follow the link provided in
the Help, Registration menu item.
